Public Bathroom Benefits

Public Bathroom Benefits

A while back, someone told me that most people are too lazy to travel more than one or two cubicles in a public bathroom. And the longer the run, the cleaner the end is by comparison to the beginning.

I don’t know about men, but women don’t often find bathrooms with more than three cubicles.

We generally have to travel further to get to them, and we don’t have the benefit of extra urinals to ease congestion. Nor can we turn our backs and flop it out at a more convenient lamp post or tree.

And as a side note,
why are men so modest
about displaying their tackle
when they have so little difficulty
suggesting at inopportune moments
that we touch it.

Anyway, in the lead up to Christmas, with nothing more urgent to do than spend the day gift shopping, I decided to check it out.

And I found:

  • providing it’s not lunchtime,
  • there aren’t women queuing back to last Tuesday,
  • there are three or more cubicles,
  • you aren’t desperate yourself,

the ones furthest from the main door can be significantly cleaner than those closer.
