July 2017 Progress Report

July 2017 Progress Report

Following the 2017 Mid Year review I made some goal changes, so let’s check in and see how July 2017 is going.

In general, it was tumultuous and upsetting, but I feel as though I’ve turned a corner (still breathing heavily and listening carefully because the bad guy was only a step or two behind me).

Virtue June July Notes
Beauty: Body

I enjoy exercising my lean, healthy 59 kg body several times a week.

🙁
66.2 kg
😐
66.1 kg
My weight got higher before it got lower, which in a way is interesting given the number of days I spent in digestive distress.
Beauty: Presence

I have thick glossy hair that compliments my beautiful clothes.

🙁  🙂 Well, I got a new style – so far so good.  It was and wasn’t related to a signature hairstyle.

The stylist helpfully told me what’s going on with my scalp and recommended a series of treatments. She advised me they were “very expensive”, but I didn’t think they were more than an ordinary conditioning treatment.

Bought some red corduroy pants which I am living in at the moment, and shared a Music Festival Outfit for Katy.

Beauty: Home

I live in a comfortable home that soothes my soul.

🙁 🙂 Some tidying, cleaning and throwing out has been done. And a lot of linen washing. It feels less stressful to look around.

But there is a new rodent colony in the roof that needs to be eliminated.

Beauty: Garden

My garden is lush and abundant, providing habitats, weather protection and a mystical threshold.

😐  🙂 During the recent bout of stormy gusty weather, we did not lose any plants. The spring bulbs are coming into flower, and now that the roses have been pruned and the lawn mowed, it all looks that much more pleasant.
Friendship: Friends

I love meeting new people, and as I am friendly and outgoing, I make friends easily.

😐  🙂 Got together with old friends, made some new e-friends. I was inspired to develop a surprisingly easy Astronaut Dinner Party.
Friendship: Creatures

My creatures are happy and healthy and find my garden a haven.

🙂  🙂 Pretty girl’s eyes are troubling her again, and we may need to organise another eye lift for her. It’s difficult to know what the best thing is at her advanced age.
Friendship: Contribution

I share my knowledge, time, and money with those who need it.

🙁  🙂 Happily contributing in my Mastermind Group. It’s nice to feel like I am making a difference.

And I was excited to share my knowledge of Prussian Blue, my thoughts on vulnerability, and updates on assisted death.  Which wasn’t related to my bad day or slowing down.

Pleasure: Adventure

I am brave and adventurous not afraid to try new things.

😐  😐 I’ve been a bit busy for adventures, but I’ve got a list of exhibitions to visit.

Though there was this month’s Haiku.

Pleasure: Recharge

I work hard and have the right to rest and recharge.

😐  😐 I’m still napping, but more accepting that right now, this is what I need the most.
Wisdom: Growth

I learn and grow every day.

🙁  🙂 I’ve read some interesting articles, and I’m thinking about a new research project.
Wealth: Business Development

  • Select and attend a business-related conference or event – real not virtual.
  • Select and attend a marketing course (real or virtual).
  • Consider buying advertising to market my products and services.
😐  😐 Left my run too late to register for a seminar on writing about place.

I will get to this – I’ve got a back log of mail to open, and I’m sure there will be something in there.

Wealth: Income

I am a successful author making at least $1,000 per month.

😐  🙂 Still haven’t calculated my book income, but I did get a way overdue payment!

Quite a busy editing month.

My July 2017 Productivity Journal is almost illegible, and I have resolved to write slower so it can be more easily read. I do have a number of stickers so there were a number of good days in there.

How did July 2017 work out for you?
