January 2021 is off to a good start.
And hopefully, I’ll continue to be a little kinder to myself, and remember not to think too far ahead, and to stay focused on each day.
I enjoy exercising my lean, healthy 59 kg body several times a week.
• Eat < 5g of salt and sugar per day.
• Walk 10,000 steps per day.
• Sleep 8 hours each night.
• Go vegetarian
|I’ve been walking every day before breakfast.|
Went all out on vegetables, but there were consequences, so I’ve had to reintroduce meat and cut back again. Not doing so well on planning lunches.
Got my hair cut – at least it’s neater.
My garden is peaceful (lush and abundant, providing habitats, weather protection and a mystical threshold)
Q1&2: finish the plan and start landscaping/planting.
|😐||😐||Let’s try this again.|
Plan in Summer/Autumn plant in Winter/Spring.
I’ll start planning any minute.
I live in a comfortable home that soothes my soul.
|😐||🙂||Ingrid Lee Fetell recently talked about how to decorate your home according to how you feel instead of how you want it to look. It’s worth thinking about further.|
I love meeting new people, and as I am friendly and outgoing, I make friends easily.
• Make some local writer friends.
|😐||😐||With Christmas and what-not, I haven’t really caught up with myself. And Melbourne lockdowns are making it hard to think about meeting in person.|
We do our best via zoom, phone calls, texts and emails.
My creatures are happy and healthy and find my garden a haven.
|😐||🙂||We accidentally came across a breeder with labs on hand, and by now you know we’ve got one.|
I share my knowledge, time, and money with those who need it.
• Write and publish stories.
Published Love in the Security Directorate.
Next story due the 15th.
Read 104 books
|🙂||😐||I set this target based on blitzing last year’s target. I’m not having too much luck – I keep starting books I can’t finish.|
See my Goodreads challenge page.
I learn and grow every day.
• Visit a historically or culturally significant venue or event each month.
|🙂||🙂||We’ve been to some parks and outdoor areas.|
Write 653,236 words to complete my first million fiction words.
|😐||🙂||Wrote 22,396 words. Spent more time writing, and wrote more words, and entered my Top 3.|
I haven’t got back into the habit of productivity journaling in January 2021, though I have a few ticks against my to-do lists.
I also haven’t got a new routine, though with the dog here, that would’ve been shot anyway. It’s helpful to get all the disruptions out of the way early! And if I’m starting in chaos, any kind of routine is an improvement.
